Tapu independent art is a collective of artists, independent and singular. Our unique character diverges from social paradigms where each and every person must assume one determined identity to be digni ed with the right to exist. In a stereo- typed perspective, everything that does not conform is deviant: ugly, sick and sick, whereas what is uniformed is beautiful, healthy and good.
We are naïve and hopeful; we intend to transform our “singular artistic” in hope for the future.
Individuals join forces in this collective to sustain and promote the artistic production of people who are usually pushed to work at the edge of society; still, they stand out for the unique nature of their work.
The association Tapu independent art was formed on September 2013 after the exhibition we called CANE! (DOG!) (collective exhibition N° zero).
The founding members are: LIA CASTEL, GIORGIO NARDELOTTO, MARIO PELLEGRINI, MR. HEART, ALBERT GBO.IS, GREGORIO TOSATTO, TIZIANO COSMA PINTON.
