Mario Pellegrini was born in 1956; when he turned 50, he discovered drawing and its great ex- pressive power, conjugated with his innate irony that shines through, par- ticularly when he sketches to wax with an effective marking synthesis. When one affectionate collector asked him: “what do you love drawing?” Mr. Pellegrini answered: “I love to draw what remains on the sheet”.
